The Roots of a City: Chimborazo
Meet outside the park museum, 3215 E. Broad St., RVA 23223
August 26, 1pm
We’re re-vamping the old “Poetry in Abandoned Spots & Forgotten Spaces” this year to a newer, hipper, more streamlined version of itself. The idea, though, is the same: small group events in inspiring, iconic locations get to know each other and the city a little more intimately.
Our 2017 PFP season returns in August with a trip to Church Hill and historic Chimborazo Park! Rain location is the Patrick Henry Pub, 2300 E. Broad St., RVA 23223. RSVP is requested. Please check out full details and future locations on our Facebook page!
Monday night small group critique and workshop series
Join us every 3rd Monday in Rocketts Landing for a 2-hour, completely free poetry workshop, September though May. Other Monday nights of the month are given to hour-and-a-half critique groups at the Urban Farmhouse in Shockoe Slip, year-round. Confused? See the page headed workshops and critique for monthly schedule and details. All levels of writing experience welcome!
