What have you been writing lately? Bring your latest poem-in-progress (no more than one page in length, 12-pt font) to our next in-person critique on Monday January 26 (the 4th Monday) from 6:30-8pm. You can find us at our usual spot at Sine Irish Pub, 1327 E. Cary St.

Get in touch via the “contact” tab here, and we’ll add you to the list! Poems for online critique may be posted anytime up to 6:30pm on the critique date, and feedback is encouraged through midnight.
Got goals? Meet us this month for a special intention-setting session Tuesday, January 20th anytime between 4-7pm. We’ll be setting out our writing goals for 2026 and sharing ways, means, tricks & tips for getting there. Whether this is your year to get your first (or your fiftieth!) publication, finish that manuscript, or establish a regular writing practice, we want to hear it and help take on the weight–and the trust–of accountability.
