This monthly open mic series ran from 2018 until early 2020 at the eclectic & cozy Boogaloos Bar & Grill in Brookland Park. Poetry nights at Boogaloos featured local showcase performances, themed open mics, and signature cocktails. Since the pandemic, Boogaloos has returned under new management and is still alive and well in the Northside–we encourage you to go check them out!
