2019-20 workshop curriculum

All workshops to be held on the 3rd Monday of the month at the Urban Farmhouse in Scott’s Addition (3015 Norfolk St., RVA 23230), 6:00-8:00pm, unless otherwise noted. This curriculum is subject to change and may include guest workshop leaders. Participants are asked to come prepared to write for most workshop sessions. Any preparatory assignment will be listed by the 2nd Monday of the month on the Facebook event page.

Critiques are held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of every month (year round) at the Urban Farmhouse in Shockoe Slip (1217 E. Cary St., RVA 23219) from 6:30-8pm. Participants are encouraged to practice writing in the form or topic covered in the 3rd Monday workshop—if applicable—for the following week’s (4th Monday) critique. This is not, however, essential for attending critiques—please come as often as you like with whatever you are working on!

*New this year!* RCP will hold Office Hours prior to critique on the 2nd and 4th Monday nights at the 1217 E. Cary location. Stop by after 5pm with your questions about publishing, putting together a manuscript, resources for submitting, or for one-on-one critique of a particular poem or project. First come, first served.
